Formation of Massive Galactic Halos with Neutrinos

Collapse of relic neutrinos is investigated numerically under the condition of spherical symmetry. Infall of neutrinos produces an envelope with r(r r -2.2, in good agreement with a density profile expected of a galactic halo. Comparison of the results with a mass model of our Galaxy leads to mn  30 eV.
